Course Description:
Heartsaver CPR AED is a course designed for practical use. With its classroom learning and video-based applications, students can easily retain the valuable information offered to save a life in a relaxed learning atmosphere.

Well-qualified instructors who work in the field will lead this valuable course, which uses the American Heart Association’s proven technique, “Practice-While-Watching (PWW)” to teach adult CPR and AED. This technique uses instructors to observe the students and provide valuable feedback, which in turn helps with retention. This course will teach students how to assist an adult that is choking, and the life-saving techniques required to clear the airway to restore a smooth flow of oxygen.

PWW is well-documented program that is successful as a good teaching aid while providing valuable and instructional feedback that guides the students’ learning of skills needed to complete their certification. Adult CPR & AED instruction provided.

Child & infant CPR are optional.

Book Requirement Notice:
The AHA requires students to have a course booklet before, during and after the course. Each participant must either already have purchased (in the past), be in possession of, or have access to course booklets at their place of employment at all times (hospital, etc.) in order to be exempt from having to purchase a book. Should this not be the case, then you are to purchase a course booklet either directly online from the AHA or from us at our facility. As a courtesy to our participants, we provide a book prior to the course commencement and during the course itself. This is simply for your convenience should you not be allowed to check out the booklet from your place of employment.

Certificate: 2-year American Heart Association (AHA) Heartsaver® CPR AED course completion card upon completion of the course.
